Our Story
In 2004, I started providing IT services as a sole proprietor with a simple mission: help growing businesses use technology reliably. In 2007, I formally established Buckeye I.T. Services and began building a team to support our growth. Over two decades, we've guided organizations through expansion, acquisitions, compliance requirements and digital transformation.
As our clients evolved, from regional businesses to PE portfolio companies, from local manufacturers landing Fortune 500 customers to financial firms facing regulatory examinations, so did we. The questions changed from "can you fix my email?" to "can you help us pass this customer security audit?"
In 2026, we reimagined our practice as Atticus Rowan. The name represents our evolved identity: Atticus for integrity and principled guidance, Rowan for strength and renewal. We retained our two decades of operational knowledge but sharpened our focus on the challenges that matter most to growing companies.
Today, Atticus Rowan serves manufacturers, financial services firms, and PE portfolio companies where IT decisions carry regulatory weight. We've executed carveouts, stood up multi-location infrastructure on acquisition timelines and guided companies through regulatory examinations. They need a partner who thinks about compliance, security and business risk before they have to ask.

I started doing IT work in 2004 with a simple belief: small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same quality IT support that enterprises take for granted. In 2007, I formally established Buckeye I.T. Services and started hiring employees to support our growing client base. What began as a one-person operation grew into a dedicated team serving businesses across Ohio and beyond.
Over two decades, I watched our clients evolve. Regional businesses became acquisition targets. Local manufacturers landed Fortune 500 customers with serious security requirements. Financial advisors faced examiner scrutiny they weren't prepared for. The stakes changed and we changed with them.
In 2026, we became Atticus Rowan to reflect that evolution. But the foundation hasn't changed: I still believe technology partnerships should be built on honesty, accountability and doing what's right for the client, even when it's not the most profitable recommendation. I'm not interested in being your vendor. I want to be the partner you call when the audit letter arrives, when the customer security questionnaire lands in your inbox or when you need someone who will tell you the truth about where you stand.
